INJECTIONS

There are two types of injection treatments: filler treatments and botulinum treatments. Facial injection treatments correct minor or early-appearing changes associated with aging. Treatments are a much lighter option than surgery. As the name suggests, fillers fill sunken face shapes and their hyaluronic acid also effectively moisturizes the skin, making it supple. The effect of botulinum, in turn, is directed at the nerve endings of the muscles, which relaxes the muscle and prevents the formation of wrinkles.

Together with the client, the specialist evaluates the best way forward to achieve an optimal result. Injection treatments are quick procedures by nature and the result is visible immediately without a long recovery period. Treatment can often be done already at the first appointment.

Injection treatments are an effective and safe way to prevent signs of aging on the skin. Typical treatment areas include, for example:

  • -laughter wrinkles in the corners of the eyes
  • -Fine lines around the mouth
  • -Sibelius wrinkles on the forehead
  • -Lowered contours of the cheekbones and temples
  • -hyperhidrosis of the armpits (and palms)

Botulinum treatment

Botulinum is a safe substance that has been used for decades in the treatment of various diseases and for about 25 years in aesthetic treatments. The substance acts locally at the injection site, due to which the appearance of wrinkles can be precisely reduced. Most commonly, botulinum toxin injections are used to smooth wrinkles between the eyebrows, angry looks and forehead lines.

The procedure is quick and causes almost no pain. The effect of treatment begins 3–7 days after treatment and lasts for approximately 4–6 months.

Fillers

When fillers are used as treatment, either individual wrinkles, scars and lines, or entire areas such as around the lips and mouth, are repaired.

Fillers are also used to balance half-differences in the face. Hyaluronic acid is a safe, biodegradable and naturally occurring moisturizer in the skin. Due to its safety, it is by far the most widely used in filler treatments for skin age changes and fine lines. Superficial hyaluronic acid injections can also effectively moisturize the surface of the skin.


The filler is injected subcutaneously. The procedure is almost painless. When contouring the lips, if necessary, the doctor can put on anesthesia. Side effects of filler treatment include transient redness and swelling at the injection site. After the swelling subsides, the treatment result is ready. On average, the effect of treatment lasts from 6 to 9 months. Complementary treatment can be done two weeks after the first treatment.
